Everyone deserves access to basic hygiene.

A Need Recognized
We've always looked for ways to honor our community's heroes — first responders, school staff, and hospital workers. In late 2022, we learned something simple but powerful: local students lacked basic hygiene products.
That moment stuck with us. After research and conversation, we knew this cause deserved more than a one-time gesture. So Kindness Kits was born — an ongoing Blair Healing Rooms program bringing dignity and care to our community, one kit at a time.
01
baby steps
After settling on the first two kit types, personal care and feminine hygiene, Kindness Kits launched 2023 with a Clean Sweep, collecting product donations to fill our very first kits.
02
our help
We are so thankful to Blair Chiropractic Centre, Cobalt Credit Union, First Baptist Church, First Congregational Church, and Sassafras Galleria of Wahoo for holding the first hygiene product drives to benefit Kindness Kits. Additional orders were placed to supplement the drives, and it was time to assemble.
03
first kits
By the end of our first quarter in 2023, we had already placed kits with schools, food pantries, law enforcement agencies, and non-profit partners. From Washington and Saunders counties, we've since grown to serve Burt, Harrison, and rural Douglas counties and beyond, into Nebraska and Iowa communities. Serving rural areas has always been at the heart of what we do.
