Donations are tax deductible in the US to the extent allowable by law.

What are Kindness Kits?

Kindness Kits are packages of hygiene products -

Personal Care, Feminine Hygiene and Household Helps.

Products are donated or purchased with donated funds
Volunteers combine the items into kits
Finished kits are provided at no cost to partner agencies like pantries, schools, law enforcement, and libraries in rural East Central Nebraska and West Central Iowa who distribute the kits to those they serve

Household Helps

Our foundational kit comes in two sizes - individual (travel) and family (full size) - and includes soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, a comb and a razor.

Agencies/schools may request the removal of the razor. If available, conditioner, lip balm or hand sanitizer may be added.

Household alternate between laundry products and household cleaners and tools.

Desired in each household cleaner kit is a dish soap, bathroom cleaner, all purpose cleaner, kitchen trash bags, sponges and cloths. Products are similar but may not be consistent from bag to bag.

Feminine Care

Feminine care period packs
are designed with or without tampons.

Each kit includes two or more sizes of pads (tampon kits replace some pads with regular and super tampons), two sizes of panty liners, with a small soap, two small trash bags and wipes in a resealable plastic bag.
